Courthouse Expansion & Renovation Completed

The Bossier Parish Courthouse construction project was awarded to Walton Construction in 2003 for the low bid of $24,500,000.00. The project consisted of renovating the old courthouse and adding an additional 76,800 square feet expansion.
As part of the planning stage each department was given more space for future growth and storage. The police jury meeting area was increased to accommodate more seating and a new state of the art audio and visual equipment was installed. Five new courtrooms were added to aid the court system.
